NTT Group has formulated and implemented a "Solution Environment Label system" since FY 2009 to facilitate our customers' understanding of our global environmental contribution efforts via ICT.
This system certifies those ICT solutions offered by the respective NTT Group companies that have reduced CO2 emission by more than 15% as environment-friendly solutions, which are identified by a "solution environment label."
The advantage of the "solution environment label" is that it helps us to make an appeal to the society in a straightforward way regarding the environmental information of our products. In view of the recent trends where keywords such as SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) investment are garnering attention, using the label at exhibitions and in catalogs allows for further publicity of our solutions, thus enabling us to make an appeal of the environmental and cost effects that users can enjoy through introduction of the service.
Besides the benefits enjoyed by the direct users of the service, effects on further reduction of environmental load can also be expected, including CO2 reduction of the society as well as that by the customers of our customers (end users).
