On November 17, 2018 (Saturday), NTT West Nagasaki Group took part in the "Togitsu no Mori Reforestation Plan Project D - Acorns" tree-planting festival hosted by Togitsu-cho, an activity which the Group started participating in since 2014 as part of the 무료카지노게임 Project.
Started several years ago, this activity aims at helping wild boars appearing in villages to return to the mountains and reduce their damage on the crops by planting saplings grown from acorns to produce food for the boars.
The event in 2016 was canceled due to rainy weather. Again, it was uncertain whether it could be held this year as it started raining the day before. Although the place was a little muddy after the rain, the participants were blessed with a perfect weather for tree planting under the blue sky.
At the opening ceremony, members of Togitsu-cho held a briefing on information such as the precautions to take note of during tree planting.About 100 participants in total, including 45 employees and family members of Nagasaki Group and Docomo CS Kyushu, together with members from other companies, government offices and local community groups, were divided into smaller groups and engaged in the respective tasks under the guidance of the government office staff and local supporters.
Participants paid careful attention to stand firmly while working on the slope, and completed planting about 200 rhododendron, hydrangea and sawtooth oak saplings in about an hour's time.
At the end of the activity, all participants were treated to a barbeque event by Togitsu-cho as with last year, where they enjoyed delicious meat and local vegetables under the brisk weather.
In closing, the representative of Togitsu-cho expressed gratitude to the participants and hoped for their continued support.
