On July 21, 2018 (Saturday), 모바일 카지노 Kagoshima Group held the "FY2018 Lake Imuta Alien Fish Species Removal Activity" at Lake Imuta Natural Park located in Satsuma-sendai City.
As part of the "Midori Ippai Project" initiative, Kagoshima Group has been holding the "Alien Fish Species Removal Activity" since FY2015. This year, a total of about 125 participants who are employees and family members of Kagoshima Group took part in this activity.
모바일 카지노 is registered as a Ramsar wetland site and renowned as the habitat for the bekko tombo dragonfly, which is designated as an endangered species of Japan. However, there has been an increase in the number of non-native fish species such as bluegills which may have a significant impact on the indigenous species.
The objective of this activity is to make contributions in some way for restoring the bountiful ecosystem by fishing and removing alien fish species.
In the opening address, Mr. 사카키바라, Manager of 모바일 카지노 Kagoshima Branch, greeted the participants and spoke about the significance of the activity. This was followed by a briefing by the secretariat on information such as the guidelines for carrying out the removal activity as well as the precautions to take.
As the event took place during the summer vacation period, many employees also took part in the activity with their children. The event kicked off in a relaxed atmosphere with the employees conveying the significance of the activity to the children in the form of a ventriloquial performance.
Participants engaged in the removal of non-native fish species in their own ways, with some participants using the bamboo fishing rods prepared by the administrative office, while others using their own fishing lures and rods.
There were a lot of tree shades along the lake with cool breeze blowing every now and then. Participants felt refreshed as they enjoyed the fishing experience while overlooking the seven mountains that surround the lake.
The removal activity ended in slightly more than two hours, and 204 fish being caught in total, including 194 bluegills and 10 black bass and snakehead. While this was less than the total number of 350 fish last year, participants were surprised as it also included snakehead that was longer than 70cm.
According to the manager of 모바일 카지노, the snakehead caught this time was the longest so far and he had not seen anything like this before. The fish was exhibited at "Aquaimu" ecosystem museum located next to the lake.
It was uncertain at first whether the event could be held due to the poor weather condition the day before. Nonetheless, the activity was full of vitality with participation by many family members including children who were in the middle of their summer vacation. At the closing ceremony, a lucky draw with many prizes was also held which brought the event to an end on a high note.
모바일 카지노 Kagoshima Group will continue to actively engage in environmental conservation activities that are closely tied to the local community, includ those related to biodiversity conservation.
