Since FY 2015, NTT West Kagoshima Group has been engaging in the "Alien Fish Species Removal" activity as part of the "카지노 pc게임ai Project."
In FY 2016, we held this activity at Lake Imuta Natural Park located in Satsuma-sendai City. The park is registered as a Ramsar site and renowned as the habitat for the bekko tombo dragonfly, which is designated as an endangered species of Japan.
The aim of this activity is to remove non-native fish species such as bluegills which may threaten the indigenous species, thereby helping to restore the rich ecosystem. Last year, the "Removal of Alien Fish Species" activity was held at Matsumoto Dam in Naoki-cho, and this year marks the second round of the same activity. As it was held during the summer vacation season, the turnout was huge with about 90 employees and family members of Kagoshima Group, including many families who brought their children along.
The removal activity lasted for about two hours, during which 143 bluegills, as well as other fish species such as black bass and snakehead were caught. Everyone also enjoyed the lucky draw event at the closing ceremony, and we believe it was a pleasant summer vacation memory for the children. The activity was also covered by two broadcasting stations and a newspaper agency, and was featured immediately on TV in the evening of the same day.
NTT West Kagoshima Group will continue to actively promote environmental conservation activities that are closely tied to the local community, as well as those related to the conservation of biodiversity.
