On July 23 (Saturday), 코인 카지노 Kagoshima Group took part in "FY2016 Lake Imuta Alien Fish Species Removal" activity at Lake Imuta Natural Park located in Satsuma-sendai City. The park is registered as a Ramsar site and renowned as the habitat for the bekko tombo dragonfly, which is designated as an endangered species of Japan.
This activity was held as part of the "코인 카지노 Midori Ippai Project" to remove non-native fish species such as bluegills which may threaten the indigenous species, thereby helping to restore the rich ecosystem.
Following the "Removal of Alien Fish Species from Matsumoto Dam" last year, this is the second time Kagoshima Group takes part in this activity. Ths year, the venue was shifted to Lake Imuta Natural Park with backup from Satsuma-sendai City. As it was the first weekend of the summer vacation season, the turnout was huge with about 90 employees and family members of Kagoshima Group, including a large number of children.
The event kicked off with Mr. 수요시, Manager of 코인 카지노 Kagoshima Branch, explaining the significance of the activity and expressing his words of appreciation. This was followed by a briefing on the details of the activity and precautions to take. The participants began to engage in the removal work after taking a commemorative group photo.
Every participant challenged the task with their own fishing style, with some using the bamboo fishing rods prepared by the administrative office, while others using their own fishing rods. There were a lot of tree shades along the lake with cool breeze blowing every now and then. Participants felt refreshed as they enjoyed the fishing experience while overlooking the seven mountains in the surrounding.
The removal activity ended in about two hours, but unfortunately only 143 bluegills were caught, which fell short of the goal of 1,000 fish. Nonetheless, it was a refreshing experience for the participants being able to enjoy spending time with their family.
A lucky draw was also held at the end of the activity, which made the event an exciting one. At the same time, we believe it has also helped children to create a fond memory for their summer vacation.
The activity was also covered by two broadcasting stations and a newspaper agency, and was featured immediately on TV in the evening of the same day.
코인 카지노 Kagoshima Group will continue to actively promote environmental conservation activities that are closely tied to the local community, including those related to the conservation of biodiversity.
