Midori Ippai Project Activities LINE 180Participation in "나트랑 카지노aign in Rokudoji Beach" July 3, 2016 NTT West Toyama Group
On July 3, 2016 (Sunday), NTT West Toyama Group took part in the "나트랑 카지노aign in Rokudoji Beach" cleaning activity (organized by FM Toyama) held in Imizu City of Toyama Prefecture.
This activity is part of the "Cosmo Earth Conscious Act 나트랑 카지노aign" that is launched jointly by Japan FM Network Association (JFN) and Cosmos Oil with the aim to promote protection and conservation of the global environment.
Rokudoji Beach is located between the river mouth of Koyabegawa and Shogawa, thus trash is washed ashore from these two rivers. In particular, trash that is always drifted to the shore includes waterweeds, black pots for planting seedlings, plastic bottles, empty cans and plastic containers. This poses a problem to the beach, which is in a pathetic shape that is cluttered with garbage.
It was raining on the day of the event. Despite falling on a non-working day, a total of 40 employees, family members and retirees of Toyama Group showed up in the early morning to take part in the cleaning activity in the rain. The activity lasted for about one hour.
Although all the participants cooperated with one another in the cleaning process, the beach still remained rather dirty. Nonetheless, the participants were happy to see that the hard work by each of them has helped to gradually restore the beautiful beach. We believe it was a refreshing and great day for them.
The cleaning activity was followed by a hands-on experience to release juvenile flounders into the sea which the participating children fully enjoyed.
We will continue to take part in this activity to help restore the beautiful beach.
