In 2008, 온라인 카지노 커뮤니티 Kochi Group concluded a "Cooperative Forestation Partnership Agreement" (with Kochi Prefecture, Kochi City and Kochi Forest Owners' Cooperative) to carry out interactive activities such as tree thinning in the "NTT Hikari no Mori (Bright Forest)."
On November 14 (Saturday), a total of 57 employees and family members of Kochi Group, including former employees, took part in the event.
There were many first-time participants in the interactive activity this year, but unfortunately the tree-thinning work was canceled due to rainy weather. It was replaced with events such as a Christmas wreath making workshop and lucky draw session. Fathers of the families engaged earnestly in the Christmas wreath making process, perhaps because they wanted to make it for their family and children.
The participants enjoyed the experience, showing their works to one other upon completion.
The initial plan for the tree-thinning activity was for all the participants to hold an outdoor barbeque under the clear autumn sky. Due to the rainy weather, this was replaced with lunch inside the interaction hall. Although participants were unable to enjoy the scenery of the foliage and mountains, and the indoor facility did not offer sufficient openness, they nonetheless had a hearty meal with barbequed food and inaka sushi (a local specialty of Kochi), and the place was filled with happy smiles that were different from usual.
